The humble genesis of the fellowship looked like a handful of ministers sitting together and sharpening each other on several themes that have until recently remained relatively elusive to "christian-dom" at large over several years. A minister would bring a burden, another a revelation, another a psalm and so on. Gradually, the fellowship began to grow as deeper truths of God's word were unearthed and the several elusive principles of the doctrine of Christ were re-discovered to the benefit of more and more ministers of the gospel. Today Ministers Rest still holds tightly to that initial spirit that she was born with while striving to remain a fellowship where the only meal we share is the bread of life and the blood of sprinkling
